EVENING WITH BENJAMIN MEE

In partnership with iMarvel! Benjamin held an evening at the Zoo to engage local business and entrepreneurs with the aim of beginning new partnerships through joint ventures or Corporate sponsorship.
The evening was hosted by BBC Radio Devon's wonderful David Fitzgerald and featured an interview with Benjamin and a dinner for the 70+ guests.
MOTIVATIONAL TALK IN HUNGARY

Benjamin was very pleased to be invited to give a talk at IBM's Business Analytics and Strategy Learning Week taking place in Budapest, Hungary.
VISIT TO HOLLAND
Benjamin makes a trip to Holland to talk at Groenhorst Barneveld and to visit AAP.
Groenhorst Barneveld is the leading trainer in animal care in the Netherlands and Benjamin has a strong relationship with them and their students.
He also took the opportunity to visit AAP and some crab eating macaques rescued from labs, circuses and pet shops that he hopes to re-home at Dartmoor Zoo in the future.
Benjamin visits Elephant Conservation Projects in Thailand
On 19th November Benjamin and the children headed to Thailand to visit elephant conservation projects to see how he and Dartmoor Zoo can get involved. In the jungle near to Chiang Mai there are numerous places that you can visit as a tourist to see elephants, some of these are great examples of eco-tourism, some are simply exploitative of elephants. Benjamin's plan is to get involved with a great eco-tourism project, working with the mahouts in nThailand to protect these magnificent creatures, looking after them with the respect they deserve.

FALL LECTURE SERIES AT MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY
17th November 2015
Benjamin headed back over the pond to speak at the Mississippi State University Fall Distinguished Lecture on 17th November.
BENJAMIN VISITS PORTUGAL
On 10th November Benjamin flew to Portugal to meet with a number of people for groups, including Associação de Desenvolvimento das Encostas da Fonte Santa and the University of Beira Interior, to discuss the revitalisation of Almeida in conjunction with the Iberian Wolf Conservation project.
